On behalf of Macleod Accommodation Support Service Inc, I would like to thank you for your incredibly generous donation.  Wow you are simply wonderful, we are all dreaming up ways to put this money to the best possible resource!  Please be assured all donations are used for the direct support for the women and their children escaping domestic violence to settle into our refuge and enhance the healing process.

It’s easy to ignore small charities like ours; we are so very glad you didn’t.

Since our inception in 1991, Macleod Refuge has offered supported accommodation for women and children escaping domestic violence.  In 2009/10 we completed renovations to the common areas, supported women and children with no income and offered daily case management support to enhance positive outcomes for the future.  We are actively involved in the Integrated Response to Domestic Violence and the Gold Coast Homelessness Network, our priority remains focused on eliminating domestic violence.  This is only possible because of thoughtful contributions from people like you.

Whilst we pride ourselves in being able to offer a quality service to the women and children who become clients, it is often the little things that can really make a difference and reassures them that people really do care.

I again thank you for your generous donation and being part of a very special group of people who care enough to give the message to victims of violence that they are worthy of a life free from violence.
